The Region 4 On-Line Technology Survey was conducted
between November, 2006 through March, 2007. Two surveys were
conducted. Local Head Start agencies completed one survey and staff
from local agencies completed another survey. This
Excel Spreadsheet below reflects summary data for key survey items
reported for both the Agency Survey and the Staff Survey. For most
items, respondents were asked to use one of these four ratings for
items: Extensive - Moderate - Minimal - None. The summary
survey results included in this spreadsheet, report the percentage
(%) of respondents (either agency or staff) who rated the items
Moderate to Extensive.
The report includes summary percentages (%) by state
and average for the region for each section and key items of the
surveys. The worksheet "Agency Survey Summary" reports percentages
from the Agency Technology Survey and the worksheet "Staff Survey
Summary" reports percentages from the Staff Technology Survey.
The spreadsheet/worksheets are designed to facilitate state
reporting of results to their programs. For example, a state could
delete or hide the columns from the other states and create a report
that compares state results to regional averages. Charts and graphs
can be easily created in Excel by referencing a specific range of
data in the spreadsheets.

and Staff are simply consolidated reports into a single PDF file of
